So last night was pumpkin carving night. As expected Samantha wanted nothing to do with it. She thought that when we cut it open there would be candy inside and when she saw what was really inside she was out. She said maybe next year she'll get her hands all messy!!! That's my child-I know! But, she did decorate her little pumpkin with some lovely stickers and it was a fun night:)Happy Halloween!!!
It is a long standing tradition that the Souths and the Avilas get together for a Halloween dinner. You see, Aaron really really loves Halloween. So we let him cook us a yummy dinner, entertain us with fun Halloween movies and then we dress the kids in their costumes for an early previewing. We have been doing this for 10 years now!!! (The movie selection was a little different before kids!)Thanks for the fun night Avilas!!!
This morning Samantha was getting ready for breakfast..her usual-yogurt. We have had her little picnic table inside since it has been so hot out-well, now that the weather is great the table is back outside. So this morning she said, "I want to eat at my little table". So I told her now that the weather is nice your table is outside. And she said, "Yeah-and when the weather is mean my table can come back in."I just about died laughing. She was probably wondering what was so funny-she just cracks me up!
