Nana's here

Yesterday Nana flew in and we picked her up at the airport. So exciting...Sammie loves going to the airport to see the planes and was very excited to see her Nana. It's great-like a new BFF in the house. "Nana-play with me, Nana-take me potty, Nana-help me get dressed"etc! She even told me, "Mommy, I don't want you to play with us-you go rest on the couch." I told her I had been waiting 3 years to hear those words-ha!
Cole wasn't feeling too good yesterday (those darn teeth)-hence no pictures of him. Hopefully today he's more himself.
It'll be a fun week:)


Nana daisy!

We played in the playhouse-Nana even climbed in!

Ballet

Our good friends the Crockers are always passing clothes down to us. Their daughter Karis is exactly a year older than Sammie. This last batch of clothes was a big hit not only because there were dresses (Sammie's favorite) but there were 2 tutu's!
So last night while Peter was grilling she turned into our ballet teacher...or as she calls it "valet teacher"!
Ha--it's so funny that she calls it valet. I can just picture her parking cars in this get up!

The new do

The other night Sammie was helping her daddy get the new pools that we got all blown up and ready. She was playing in Cole's little baby pool while daddy was blowing hers up and yowza was there some static!!!!!!! Granted-this is what she looks like every day when she plays crazy on the couches but I still had to get it on film!!!
You may be saying, "Isn't it a little early for pools?" Uh-no. It was already up in the 90's! We need water...it's our friend when we are trapped in our home with nowhere to go! You are all welcome to come over and play with us:)

Peek-A-Boo

Cole decided he was not ready for his nap today and instead wanted to play peek-a-boo. I peeked in just to see if he was asleep and this is what I saw. Of course I had to run and get the camera because it was so funny.
What I probably did was just teach him that this is our new fun game! Oh well!!
He was laughing histarically--it was worth it:)

Orange you glad for oranges?

Daddy is always sneaking Cole food...the other day it was oranges. Cole wasn't sure about it at first, but now he likes them! His first real finger food. Tonight daddy snuck him some guacamole and Sammie yelled, "No Daddy-he's just a baby!" She takes after her mommy!:)

Birthday Fun!

We can't believe our little girl is already 3!!! It seems like just the other day we were getting ready to start our family and here we are with 2 kids! We are so thankful to God for the journey he's taken us on so far and we can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
We had a little tea party yesterday for her with her 2 BFF's, Ana and Maura. They enjoyed tea sandwiches, making tiaras, decorating cookies and running around with their baloons. It was such a nice time.
Cole pretty much slept through the whole thing but was happy to wake up to a house full of girls!

Willow's Birthday

Yesterday was Willow's 3rd birthday. We went to her party...lots of fun. There was yummy food, a pinata and of course sweets!!! Sammie loved her cupcake with pink frosting...although I think she only ate the frosting:)

What's up cuz?

Today our cousin Maddy came over for a visit. We love Maddy-she is super cute and lots of fun to play with:) We had a picnic in the backyard and played. It was all fine until Samantha realized that Maddy was touching her stuff!! It's a good lesson that Sammie needs to learn...over and over!
