Cousins

Today we went over to my cousin Allison's house. She has 2 girls; Maddie who is 5 and Vivian who is almost 3. They had a blast swimming and playing together. Samantha kept telling me, "she's my cousin". So cute.

Party time

This morning at playgroup we had a birthday party for Maura. Samantha had so much fun with her friends...the tea party was a hoot! Here she is with Ana and Maura having some tea:)

Summertime

Summer is officially on and thank goodness for friends with pools. Yesterday our good friends the Jacksons had us over for a BBQ and fun in the pool. Samantha was in her element! Splashing, jumping in and blowing bubbles were just a few of the hoghlights. Even Tyler joined in on the fun. Thanks Mary and Brian!!!

Pool Party

Maura came over this morning for a pool party. I especially love the one of them hugging. The legs are Samantha's, her first dive!!

Friends

Samantha and her friend Maura love playing together. Reading and snacking are on our top 10 favorite things to do together! It really is fun watching her understand what "friends" are.

I Can Count to Twenty?

Welcome to our first posting. Posts might be slow for awhile while we figure out how to use this blog. You would think that someone who is trying to start a home automation company would be slightly more savvy with blogs and such, but I still cannot figure out how to use myspace. I keep saying that I'm going to hire a teenager to teach me how to use it. Hopefully this is not a preview of my ineptitude for the future. I hate to think that I'll be one of those parents that does not have a clue about what my kids are into. Well at least for now I have a leg up on Samantha.
