Rub a chub chub

Cole has officially outgrown his baby tub. He has graduated to a ducky tub that goes in the bathtub. We were expecting the worst because I have tried to put him in the big tub before and it has not gone well but he loved it. He just laid in it and was so chill. It was great!
Bathtime can be fun again and I don't have to worry about him falling forward because he's trying to grab his toes (which is what was happening in the little tub). Sammie also helped with the bath-she washed his belly. She thought the whole thing was pretty amusing:)

Pancakes

Cole was sitting in his highchair this morning patiently waiting for his breakfast this morning and I looked over and all of the sudden he just looked so big! So I snapped a few shots. It is really crazy how fast they change...right before your eyes.
He is such a happy, happy boy--which makes us very happy too.
Samantha's new nickname for him is "our little pancake". One day she called him pancake and he cracked up so it stuck.
Still when she says this to him it brings a giant, dimple-producing smile to his chubby face:) She says she's the big pancake:) Ha!
I love my sweet, little (or not so little) pancakes!!!

Mmm...messy!

Samantha is now in the popsicle phase of her life...creamsicles to be exact! Yum! She ate about half...which was impressive considering every time she's ever had a popsicle she has taken about 10 licks and been done! I guess we found the winner-thank you creamsicles:) Doesn't hurt that mommy likes them too:)

A Morning at the Park

This morning we met up with Gina and the girls to go play at Kiwanis Park. I have never taken Sammie to play there but it is awesome. They have a huge covered area, a sandy area and a huge lake with ducks to feed, watch, talk to...whatever! It was a beautiful day to be out. Thanks for coming out to play with us Aunt Gina, Willow and Sofie:)

Active McMovington

Cole has discovered that if he rolls/scoots he can have a different view. It must get very boring looking up all the time.
He is just changing so fast. He is now playing with his toys...grabbing, chewing, throwing them all over. Watch out Sammie---it's about to get very fun in the South house!!!


It looks like he is trying to make his body look like the letter "S" for Sammie!
