Desert Breeze Park

On Saturday afternoon when Peter got off work we decided that we didn't want another boring dinner at home so we got some sandwiches and took them to Desert Breeze park.
On the weekends they have a train and carousel that run-it is pretty cool. The weather was perfect and the kiddos loved it! We ate our dinner, waved to the people onthe train, fed the ducks, played in the sand, rode a mini carousel and even went for a ride on the train.
It was a great way to spend a Saturday evening. And--the kids were pretty pooped by the time we got home! This is another highly recommended South outing:)



Cole enjoyed the picnic...if only he really could feed himself! His new nickname is spooner-you see why!

Oh happy day

Ana came over for a couple hours this morning and the girls had so much fun. They ran, bounced, kicked balls, played in the playhouse, had a picnic, raced, chased and just laughed and laughed. It was so sweet.
Cole thought they were pretty amusing too.
Thanks for coming over Ana! Let's do it again soon.

Haircut

So we decided it was long past time to give Cole a haircut. He has these cute little ears that you couldn't see because his hair was so long! So Daddy bought some trimmers and we did it at home. It helped that Sammie was swinging and making Cole laugh. She is so helpful!! He did really good. Ok-so it's not even but it WAS our first time cutting hair. I promise I'll get better Cole. You are so handsome little guy:)

Easter

We had a very happy Easter. We woke up and Sammie was on the hunt for her Easter basket and eggs. She had so much fun looking-it was cute. After we found all the eggs and shoveled in some breakfast we were off to church.
Of course church was great-Cole took a nap---that's a first for him...usually he cries! Sammie made a cool windsock for the house and told us she learned about God and duck duck goose:)
Then it was off to Grandpas for brunch. Cole took a 2 hour nap at Grandpa's---couldn't believe it! Wah Hoo we have a kid who will nap in a pack and play!!!! Sammie had fun playing with her cousins-there was food, an egg hunt and a hot game of red rover! It was a great day:)

Friends come in all shapes and sizes...

This is my friend Tyler. His mom is Mary-she's my mommy's BFF. He just turned one and now he can walk! He is so cool. He had fun playing at my house yesterday...I slept throught the whole thing. I like naps. Tyler, come back soon buddy!!!

This is my BFF. Her name is Sammie...she's my big sis. She loves me a whole lot. This morning she wanted to hold me so we hung out on the couch together. She likes to make me smile...I sure do love her a lot:)
