Making a splash

This has been the week of splash pad fun. Yesterday when Sammie was at preschool Cole went to play at the splashpad with his BFF Tyler. They rarely get to play together because their naps don't usually sync up. They mostly just snacked together but isn't that what friends do?
Then today we went back to meet up with some familiar faces. Ana and Maura met us for storytime, lunch and some splashing around. It was a great day.

Listening intently at storytime.

Ready to splash.

Ready go!

Where did the water go?

Tickle her feet and maybe she'll move!

Cole loves his water cups! .

See, they do play together:)

The girls crawling around with Cole...that was his favorite.

I love this guy.

A quick visit

We decided to go for a quick visit to see Grammie and Grandpa this weekend. It was a fast trip, but still fun and a nice get away. The kids had a blast playing with all of Grammie and Gpa's toys, the tent of course, and playing the piano. Cole can reach it now when he stands up to it! He would hit the keys and then look back like, "This is fun, am I doing something naughty?"!
Thanks for a fun visit Grammie and Grandpa.

Handsome drooler.

This was Cole's favorite thing to do...
pull pictures off the shelves--not
books--pictures! Ha!

Storytime with Daddy

Last night Peter had both kids on his lap reading before bedtime. It was so sweet I had to run for the camera! And shockingliy, the both sat there super still and listened to some stories. He's such a good Daddy!

New Curtains

The new curtains are here and they look great! We are hoping that tomorrow morning reaps the benefit. We'll see...

Cole's room.

Sammie's room.

Her name is Cinderella, not Sammie. Get it right.

Peek-a-boo plate

I was in the kitchen this afternoon cutting up some more food for the kids' plates at lunchtime and Sammie yelled to me, "Mommy Cole isn't eating he's just playing with his plate". She is so good about keeping me informed!
Here he is having all kinds of fun at lunchtime. If you are wondering what kind of food makes his face SO messy--pizza rolls and watermelon (really all food but that's what he had today:)
