Then, Cole was crawling out the the back and apparentlyy fell right on his noggin. He has a huge black and blue egg on his forehead. Which is about right because I was finally going to go get his 1 year pics this week-oh well, what's another month.

Ouch!
So today while I was out Peter got a hold of the clippers...Cole is now ready to join the military! His hair is really short--in most places! Ha! Peter is determined to figure this whole hair cutting thing out.

Go DBacks
This summer our library had a reading program for kids as they do every summer where if you read so many books you earn prizes. The last prize was a free ticket to a Diamondbacks game! Free! What a deal.
So today Sammie and Peter went to the game. It was a great father-daughter bonding experience. Peter even bought her a little bat at the gift shop and after dinner she went out back and they played. She even hit the ball once!!! I took some pictures, but they weren't good-sorry.
Cole had a great day as well. While Peter and Sammie were out, he took a stellar nap and we hung out. Then while Sammie was getting her baseball lesson he discovered the playhouse. He had never climbed up under our gazebo before and it was like a whole new world of fun. He rang the doorbell a few hundred times, found the phone and played with the windows. It was really cute to see his excitement.
All in all-a great day.

Sammie and Daddy at the game.

Well hello.

I love this picture because Cole looks really excited
and Sammie looks like she has no idea he's even out
there!!!

Tumbleweed Park
This morning we went to Tumbleweed Park. It is this awesome park that has a HUGE play area that is totally shaded, a little "road" area to ride bikes, sand pits, ride ons, grass everywhere. It rocks. I think we will be there a lot this fall!
Samantha hopped on her bike and rode and rode. This was kind of surprising because at home we can't get her to go for it. I guess she just needed some space to ride and her friends. I was so impressed.
Cole loved it all. He hasn't really been to a park in a while and was just taking it all in. He loves swinging and going down the slides-a little.
Thanks for the fun morning girls.

Today Cole decided that he was ready to go for it and walked across the living room! I just about freaked out. So exciting. Here we go....let the fun begin! I can't wait for the weather to cool down so we can go the parks and run. Good job Cole!!!
