Reunited

One of Sammie's BFF's Maura was gone most of the summer and is home now. The girls have been having so much together and really missed each other. So sweet. Maura came over yesterday morning for a playdate and they had a blast. Here is just some of what went on...

School

Today Sammie had her first day of preschool. It was a shortened day that parents go to. It was fun. She decorated her placemat, played with toys, had storytime, sang songs, and played on the playground. We can't wait for Monday...the first real day.
I can't believe at this time next year I will have to send her to Kindergarten...I'll probably cry and she'll say "see ya!"

Friends

Today we had a nice surprise. Christina, Camille and Diego came over for a visit. Sammie loves playing Camille and vice versa, I think because they both have little brothers. They were both excited to have someone to play school with:) Cole took a while to warm up but by the end of the visit was running around laughing and playing hide and seek. It's so fun to watch our kids grow up. I remember when Camille and Diego were Sammie and Cole's age....crazy.
Thanks for coming over Avilas-we loved seeing you.

Getting so big

All of the sudden Cole has turned into a full time toddler. He is everywhere all the time and is talking up a storm. My new favorite thing that he does/says is: when he is walking by someone and can't get around he says "excuse you" instead of excuse me. It's pretty funny.
