Fun at the farm

Yesterday we went to Asher's 3rd birthday party at Mother Nature's Farm. There was a fun bouncy house (Sammer bounced the night away!), pumpkin hunting and decorating, pizza, cake, ballons, a sunset hay ride and lots of animals to say hi to. It was a fun way to spend the evening. Thanks Olimbs for including us in your joy.
How old are you Asher?! Ha!

Pinkalicious!

Yesterday Sammie and I had a fun girls day. We started by going to see Pinkalicious at the Valley Youth Theater. For those of you who aren't familiar, it's a children's book about a little girl who loves pink! Sound familiar? It was the first play I've taken her to and she loved it, as did I! We had front row seats! The show was really awesome, kind of made me want to put Sammie into acting-I think she'd love it.
Then we went to AJ's for a cookie. Pulled up a table right next to the big fountain and made a couple wishes with the pennies I had. Then we walked arounf the shopping plaza going in and out of this store and that.
It was a great way to spend a day. Looking forward to many more "girls days" with my Sammer Jammer.

Aunt Katie

Last weekend my family threw a huge party for my grandpa's 90th birthday! It was wonderful, and to make it even more wonderful-my sister Katie flew in form Virginia to go. It was SO wonderful to see her. Sammie got really attatched and was sad to see her go but we made some great memories in the short time she was here. Thanks for sleep over/hair salon/house/snuggles/belly laughter/ and just your time Aunt Katie. We miss you!!!!!!!

Mud Cakes and Otter Pops

Ana Banana came over yesterday afternoon for some fun in the sun and just good fun. First the girls made headbands, then it was outside to play in the pool. Yes, it's still hot here! Then they got hungry so they had otter pops in the pool. Easy clean up! Then it was over to the sand and water table to make mud cakes and have a chat...
S:"Ana, what are you going to be when you grow up?"
A:"A Vet-i-narian."
S:"I am going to be a Vallerina."
Love their talks.
Then inside to play/dress up/dance/snack/relax before some more playing.
They really do love each other-it's sweet.

Payson

Yesterday Sammie and I drove up North to Payson with some of our favorite people:) Cole was invited too, but he got sick so he stayed home with Daddy.
We started the adventure with yummy pizza. We practically had the whole place to ourselves, which was nice with 6 kids!
Then it was off to Green valley Park. This park was amazing. A huge lake, rolling green hills, and a huge kids playground. Everything you need to have a great time. We set up camp and played all day long. The kids all played so well together and genuinely enjoyed the day. There was sliding, swinging, climbing, running, rolling, resting, eating, laughing, games, cupcakes, sandy faces, mud, lollis and more! It was such a beautiful, fun day. We were all wondering why we'd never done a road trip before. Great memories made.
We love you Susan, Ana, Grace, Mary, Tyler, Melissa, Maura and Maggie! We treasure your friendship.
