Chomp, chomp

Samantha was not a finger chewer so I am not sure what this means, but word on the street is that Cole's teeth are getting ready to make an appearance...yikes!
Good thing he gets to start eating real food next week...okay, rice cereal-not quite real food.
Sorry buddy, the good stuff will come later!

Swing-A-Ding-Ding

Every day in the afternoon when Cole takes his nap it is "Mommy-Sammie time". I try to do something with her that we don't normally do when Cole is awake. So today we were outside and she wanted to swing.
She has been out of the whole swinging thing for quite a while so I was happily surprised. She kept saying (really, really loudly) while I was swinging her,"Swing-a-ding-ding, swing-a-ding-ding." I don't know where this came from but it was cracking me up.
She looked so big in her swing-where does the time go???

Playin

Cole got a new bouncy seat and loves to play with the little toys on it! It's so fun to see him actually grabbing and playing with things. He is out of his "lump" stage!
I think Sammie is in big trouble when he starts moving because he is going to be in to EVERYTHING! It will be fun:)

Toys are fun-who knew?

Check me out in my big boy hat.

Samantha "getting ready" for a party we went to the other night.
I think she had on every peice of jewelry she owns!

Cradler

This was Samantha's cradle when she was a baby. It's in our room right now because we are running out of room in our house-2 kids really take up a lot of space-sheesh!
Cole rarely gets a chance to lay in it because it has now become Samantha's lounge. She likes to get all settled, blankie and baby a must, and watches Elmo. It is pretty hilarious.

Thanks Nana

Well, Nana went home yesterday. We had such a fun visit...even if we were just sick and miserable (at least we were miserable together:) We had fun painting, making neclaces, shopping, playing dress up, playing school and just hanging out.
All the way home from the airport Sammie kept saying, "I miss my Nana". Then later in the afternoon she was playing in her room by herself and I heard her talking to Nana! Probably on her princess cell phone.

Thanks for coming out Nana-we love you and miss you! Samantha is already talking about her trip to Virginia:)
