A Memorable Day...

Yesterday was a big day...Cole was a swingin. Sammie helped and gave him a couple pushes. He loved it. I think he is going to be our adventure/adreneline junkie. He's our happy, little big boy.
Today is his 6 month birthday...happy birthday cutie pie!

Then, Sammie decided it was time to get married...She put one of her tutu's on her head and the other around her waist. Then she waited for Daddy to come home so she could have her first father/daughter dance...she also informed us that she wanted her wedding dress to be red!!! Um-no! Yikes, we have some work to do:)

The first of many...

Tonight was the first of many...baths together that is. Who wants to do 2 baths when you can do em both at the same time?! We're all about efficiency (and laughing out loud of course)! Sam and Cole both loved this and just laughed and laughed. It was sooo cute.

Can I just say that I love my kids...more and more every day. Even when they frustrate me to no end...like tonight when Samantha would not go to sleep...and then she said, "I just don't want to sleep by myself". What do you say to that? Ah the joys of parenthood:) You just can't be mad that they want to be with you...because soon that day will be gone! Too soon...

Sweet sweet sweet potatoes

Sweet potatoes were on the menu today and Cole was not too sure. Every bite he took he made the ew face and shook his head like it was a shock to his system. Thankfully, they stayed down. So we'll keep shoveling them in and hopefully he won't look so upset with every bite.

Rub a chub chub

Cole has officially outgrown his baby tub. He has graduated to a ducky tub that goes in the bathtub. We were expecting the worst because I have tried to put him in the big tub before and it has not gone well but he loved it. He just laid in it and was so chill. It was great!
Bathtime can be fun again and I don't have to worry about him falling forward because he's trying to grab his toes (which is what was happening in the little tub). Sammie also helped with the bath-she washed his belly. She thought the whole thing was pretty amusing:)

Pancakes

Cole was sitting in his highchair this morning patiently waiting for his breakfast this morning and I looked over and all of the sudden he just looked so big! So I snapped a few shots. It is really crazy how fast they change...right before your eyes.
He is such a happy, happy boy--which makes us very happy too.
Samantha's new nickname for him is "our little pancake". One day she called him pancake and he cracked up so it stuck.
Still when she says this to him it brings a giant, dimple-producing smile to his chubby face:) She says she's the big pancake:) Ha!
I love my sweet, little (or not so little) pancakes!!!
