A Long Day
Sammer has a little cold and so we were inside...all day...all 3 of us! The day went well--lots of liquids, lots of TV, a long nap, lots of Kleenex and then 4:30 came around and we were all a little stir crazy. It was time for some fresh air. Yes, she's in jammies-a sweater-her dress up "ballet" shoes as she calls them-and a hat that her nana made her! A little fresh air goes a long way.
I think she looks a lot like her brother with this expression!
I had to capture the whole ensemble!
Check out my cute hat-"mommy-can you see me?"
Give me the food and nobody gets hurt
Cole gets really excited about his food so I set his banana, apple, pears on his highchair and he tried to break it open. I have to be really conscious NOT to set any open food on his chair because he can now reach it and on a couple occasions has dumped it down the front of himself and tried to eat the bowl. Our little piggy!

Project Literacy
So we've decided it's time Cole learn to appriciate books as much as his sister and man does he! When you get a book out for him his face lights up and his whole body gets excited!!! It's pretty funny. Yesterday Sam and Cole had reading time together in the big, blue chair. Sammie was reading peek-a-boo bear and Cole was learning about farm animals...well ok, he was eating the book but whatever!
Cole also got his first tooth on Monday! His little bottom tooth finally broke through. He is still my #1 boy because you wouldn't even know he was teething. He is so mild-mannered and easy. God is good is all I have to say:) He's still sleeping great and loves his life. What's not to love really...his sister thinks one of her main jobs in life is to make him laugh and help him with EVERYTHING! It's sweet.
