We decided to go for a quick visit to see Grammie and Grandpa this weekend. It was a fast trip, but still fun and a nice get away. The kids had a blast playing with all of Grammie and Gpa's toys, the tent of course, and playing the piano. Cole can reach it now when he stands up to it! He would hit the keys and then look back like, "This is fun, am I doing something naughty?"! Thanks for a fun visit Grammie and Grandpa.
Grammie and Cole playing around. Samantha relaxing in the tent. Handsome drooler. This was Cole's favorite thing to do... pull pictures off the shelves--not books--pictures! Ha!
Last night Peter had both kids on his lap reading before bedtime. It was so sweet I had to run for the camera! And shockingliy, the both sat there super still and listened to some stories. He's such a good Daddy!
I was in the kitchen this afternoon cutting up some more food for the kids' plates at lunchtime and Sammie yelled to me, "Mommy Cole isn't eating he's just playing with his plate". She is so good about keeping me informed! Here he is having all kinds of fun at lunchtime. If you are wondering what kind of food makes his face SO messy--pizza rolls and watermelon (really all food but that's what he had today:)
So today was supposed to be Sammer's first real day of preschool but she and Cole both have little summer colds. Coughing, gross nose situations, etc. So, for today we stay home. Sammie has really been into the computer lately. The first thing she asked me this morning was if she could play a game on the computer. So cute! I am glad that we are into a new chapter of entertainment-the TV is getting old. Hopefully this will be a quick cold and she can go to school later this week.
Playing "Dora's Adventure" Concentration face. Cole scaling the walls! He'll be running through this house....very soon!
