Rain

We have had some serious rain this week and it seems to always happen when Sammer gets home from school, which is great! We walk in the door, put on some rain gear and PLAY! The kids were beside themselves with joy splashing in puddles, having flower races down the gutter and digging in the mud in our backyard with sticks. We need to get Cole a raincoat and boots...snow boots aren't really meant for the rain!

Big guy

Yesterday Tyler came over to play. It was really cute-the minute he got here he and Cole ran to Cole's room and started playing with cars. Sammie sat on my lap and was sad because "Tyler didn't want to play with her"-:) I guess she's used to being the one with all the playdates! And Tyler does love her, he follows her around everywhere-it's cute.

The boys-and Sammie-had a fun morning. The boys don't pose for pictures quite like Sammie and her friends, but here are a few shots of the fun.

Tutu fun

Last week was another fun filled week in the South hosue. Maura came over and the girls ended up in tutus dancing and twirling to their heart's content! I think there is a future for them in the ballet!

Too cute

Today we went to the Tempe Marketplace splashpad. It was gorgeous outside, ok maybe not gorgeous but we weren't sweating bullets. Sammie and Ana had a blast chasing, grabbing and loving each other. Cole and Tyler had fun running around chasing each other and playing in the fountain, but as you can guess they don't pose for pictures!

Go DBacks!

We had a fun night at the Diamondbacks Game tonight. The kids earned free tickets in the summer reading program so we decided to go tonight. It couldn't have been a more beautiful night, it was semi-cool and breezy. This was Cole's first baseball game and just loved it, he even wore his hat just like his daddy which was really cute.

Maura and Maggie even came so Sammie had her friends there to run around with. They have a kids' play area up in the high seat are where the kids enjoyed running around. Watching Cole take it all in was so much fun and I just know we have many more games in our future!

My favorite memory...we made it onto the jumbotron!!! Five minutes into the game when Peter and Rob went to get their drinks Melissa and the kids and I were on the giant TV! We all waved-it was pretty awesome!
