A Walk in the Desert

On Monday we went for a little hike on South Mountain. It was a beautiful Arizona day and Sammie learned a lot.
Peter taught her all about Saguaros, Jackrabbits, Palo Verdes, Mesquite bushes, coyotes and of course how to throw rocks in the desert! And of course every bench we came to we had to have a rest!
It wasn't actually so much of a hike as it was a stroll through the desert.
Fun none the less.

Samantha has the right idea riding on Peter's shoulders! Love the cactus picture.
