Something funny

So for those of you who watch the office...remember last week--or the week before last...Dwight was the party planner and did those lame balloons....well...we went to Frys today and just like EVERY other week Sammie got her free balloon.
Except today was a little different. The girl hardly put any air in it. Seriously look at the thing. Is the price of helium going up so much that she had to cut back...was she running out?
What was the dealy-o? I almost said something but it was so funny to just look at I refrained.
This is the saddest looking balloon I have ever seen!!! Sorry Sammer.

Notice--no big happy smile...
I wouldn't either if I had this lame balloon!!!

A fun morning

Saturday morning one of Sammie's BFF's Maura came over to play. It was a beautiful morning so the girls got to have art-o-rama out back. I set out playdough, paper and markers, the easel and chalk.
It was so fun watching them play together. The morning started with some playdough fun, then they wrote stories-haha, then it was snack time-goldfish of course, and we ended the morning by the girls decorating a stone for Peter's upcoming garden with some chalk. (Sammie was pretty peeved today to see that the rain had washed away all their hard work--another life lesson on the books....rain washes things away...now we know!)
Samantha really loves her friends and she talkes about them all the time. Maura hadn't been gone 2 minutes and Sammer said to me, "Mommy I really miss my friend Maura". It's touching to see such care so young.

Snow!

This weekend we went up to Flagstaff with our good friends the Crocker's. Jason and Rachel have a daughter, Karis, who is a year older than Sammie and a son, Jack, who is 3 months older than Cole.
We stayed in a cute, little cabin and enjoyed the snow. Well, mostly. Sammie did go sledding and even played around in the snow a little. But then she took a spill and got a her first shiner! The girls had a blast playing together. They mostly just wanted to play on the little playground that was at the cabin site-which was pretty funny in itself. It had a merry-go-round, teeter-totter and a tall, metal slide--the kind we grew up on--you know-6 feet tall and metal!
It was really sweet to watch the girls play gotether and have their "sleepovers" in the living room. Definately a memory that will last. Thanks for a great weekend Crocker family!

So cute in her snowsuit.
Snowball fight time.
Here we go round the merry-go-round.

Swinging on mom's lap.

Fun with daddy.

Two handsome fellows.
Let's go have some fun.
Snuggled up to watch a movie.
The whole gang.
Time for a game of go fish.
Nothing tops a great trip like
happy meals on the way home!
(check out the shiner)
Karis's 1st happy meal-yummm!

A day in the life...

Today was just another day...but it was pretty fun. Most days around here are fun. How could they not be with a toddler toddling around and the world's happiest baby!
The weather has been so beautiful that we've been spending a lot of time outside. It is amazing how just being outside changes our moods...all of us!

Posing for a quick pic, not shy!

Taking a little stroll through the grass...

Trying to decide what to do next...hmm...

Having a brownie sounds good...
Cole liked the fresh air too.
Every time Sammie gets near him, Cole just lights up.
He loves the attention from his sis.

Oh yea-we also made pet rocks:) We named them...they are: momma, daddy, baby, Sofia and one no named rock.

Clips, cuties and cuisine...

Ok, so my good friend Susan makes these super cute clips for Sammie. She made us some Valentine clips and of course Sammie wore them today when we got together to play. Well, Susan could not resist and gave my son his first (and hopefully last) makeover!!! Poor thing...we will have to hide these pictures. This is only the beginning for him...he has NO idea what's in store for him-tee hee! He was a good sport though and took it like a man.

What have you done to me???

We love clips...well...Sammie does!

Maura, Sammie and Ana racing racing...
surprisingly she won a lot! She may have short,
little legs but the girl can run!!!

Starting the "lunch with girlfriends" early on!
